We took a family vacation to Melbourne and Cocoa Beach, Florida in Winter 2024 and spent several days at an Airbnb with a private pool in nearby Palm Bay, FL. ...This was our second visit to the area, and first with both of our kids, and we made sure to maximize our time in the sun. We woke up early and drove to Indialantic Beach to enjoy the peaceful colors of the beach sunrise. Then we returned later in the afternoon to soak in the warm sunlight and have some fun on the beach making sandcastles and playing with the seagulls. We cooled off in the private pool afterwards. The second day we visited the family-friendly Brevard Zoo and spend much of the day admiring the exotic animals. We even had the chance to feed the Giraffes by hand! The next day we rented a pontoon boat and cruised on the waters of the calm Indian River. We even had time to squeeze in round of mini golf before an afternoon rain shower. Finally we basked in the glory of the stunning colors of the coastal sunset. Gulf Coast's Hidden Gem l 7 Days in Pensacola Beach 4K

We visited our favorite Gulf Coast paradise, Pensacola Beach, Florida, for a family fall break trip in October 2024. This trip we traveled with three other families of good friends. ...From the moment we arrived we were greeted with stunning sunsets, turquoise waters, white sand, and warm weather. One of the things we love the most about this place is how relatively uncrowded it is at this time of year. We spent the week enjoying the sun, fishing, playing beach games, and seeing all the marine life nearby. We especially enjoyed our stay at Anne’s Island Girl beach house and all the amenities it offered including the private pool. Special thanks to Gulf Coast Getaways for hosting our stay. https://www.floridagulfcoastgetaway.com/vacation-rental-home.asp?PageDataID=147914

Zion’s MOST THRILLING Hike: Angel’s Landing!

We hiked Angel's Landing on a beautiful morning in Fall 2024 and, for us, it was the most thrilling hike in Zion National Park! We obtained the required permit for ...the chained section of the trail on the National Park Service website the day prior to our hike and hit the trail just before 9am. The hike up was strenuous, as we gained nearly 1,800 feet, so we took frequent breaks to enjoy the stunning views. Once we reached Scouts Lookout we caught our breath and then began the final stretch up to Angel's Landing. There were a number of permanent chains along this section of trail and they certainly helped give a sense of security as we climbed along the steep ridges up to the summit. This stretch of the hike, while certainly dangerous in terms of the sheer dropoff down into the canyon, was not as scary to us as others have portrayed. We felt secure in our footing and the trail seemed adequately wide enough for safe passage. We stopped a few times to rest and allow other hikers to pass us as needed, and there was enough room on the trail to allow for that to be done safely. The breaks allowed us the opportunity to really enjoy the panoramic views of the canyon and get a sense of how massive the surrounding canyon walls are and how far down the bottom of the canyon was. Once we reached the summit we were blown away with the stunning view of Zion Canyon and the surrounding cliffs. Truly a fantastic payoff for the work we put in to get to the top of Angel's Landing!

Breathtaking Hike to Sarrail Ridge via Rawson Lake Trail
Sarrail Ridge and Rawson Lake were by far the hiking highlight of our ...
Sarrail Ridge and Rawson Lake were by far the hiking highlight of our family trip to Banff in Summer 2024! In order to reach the Rawson Lake trailhead we had ...to travel down from our condo just outside Banff in Canmore into Kananaskis Country and Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Here's a link to the most recent trail information for your convenience: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/alberta/sarrail-ridge-via-rawson-lake-trail From our research we knew completing the upper portion of the trail would be a challenge, and not really appropriate for our kiddos, so we decided to hike with the whole crew up to Rawson Lake, and let the kids hike back down with their grandparents while Jenny and I finished the hike up to Sarrail Ridge. We were fortunate to have perfect sunny/mild weather during our hike, and the recent "bear" closures had been lifted, allowing us to tackle the terrain unhindered. The hike begins along the shore in the southeast corner of Upper Kananaskis Lake and follows along the southern shore of the lake until you pass the beautiful Sarrail Creek waterfall. Then the trail leads upwards from the lake, passing through the forest until reaching the stunning views of Rawson Lake. We rested for a bit and had some lunch along the shore of Rawson Lake before continuing our hike up to the top of Sarrail Ridge. The reviews mentioning how steep and challenging the climb up to the ridge were certainly accurate and we were fortunate to have brought our hiking poles and good hiking boots or we may not have been able to make it. There was so much loose dirt and gravel that it made every step a challenge, and especially on the way back down. I wasn't able to get much footage of the ascent up to the ridge because I had my hands full using my hiking poles and trying not to slip. But the hard work paid off and we finally reached the top of Sarrail Ridge and spent about 45 minutes enjoying the breathtaking views from the top. The hike back down certainly went faster than the ascent but the portion until we reached back down to Rawson Lake was quite nerve-wracking due to the loose gravel and steep sections. Thankfully we completed the hike with only a bit of soreness rather than any injuries. And the hard work was certainly worthwhile for the amazing memories we made. We hope you enjoy sharing this hike with us.
Video was filmed with a GoPro Hero 11 and the Pictures shot with a Canon EOS R50.

We spent 7 days in the stunning Canadian Rockies in late Summer 2024. This was a family vacation and we travelled with both of our children, as well as some ...extended family. Our week was full of exploring the highlights of Banff National Park including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and the Bow River. We also ventured into many of the surrounding destinations and visited Marble Canyon, Emerald Lake, Sunshine Mountain & Gondola, Kananaskis Country, Canmore, and Grassi Lakes. Highlights certainly included hiking to Rawson Lake & Sarrail Ridge, visiting the iconic Canmore Engine Bridge (as seen in HBO's The Last of Us), stargazing in the dark mountain skies, seeing many elk and other wildlife, and being constantly surrounded by the picturesque Canadian Rocky Mountains. There was so much to do that we certainly will have to come back in the near future for round 2. We hope you enjoy these highlights from our trip and that it will inspire you to come have an adventure in Banff, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Special note, recreational drone flying is not permitted inside Banff National Park or the surrounding provincial parks. All drone video was captured outside of those areas.

This cinematic drone film was made during our Summer 2024 visit to Canmore, Alberta and the Canadian Rockies and is filmed with a DJI Mini 3 Pro. We spend one ...week at a lovely condo near the center of Canmore with our kids, and some extended family (https://www.vrbo.com/381129). We were honestly blown away each day by the sheer beauty of the nature surrounding us. From Cascade Mountain, Mount Rundle, Ha Ling Peak, Mount Lawrence Grassi, and the Three Sisters dominating the views to the West and South to Grotto Mountain, Mount Lady Macdonald, and Mount Charles Stewart on the East and North, we felt like we were in the middle of a mountain valley paradise. Add to that the stunning Bow River with its milky turquoise water running through the middle of the town and there was no shortage of stunning sights to see. We especially enjoyed the sunrise views of the mountains being slowly illuminated by sunlight. It was cool to see the iconic Canmore Engine Bridge which was featured in HBO's popular show The Last of Us. Canmore was a perfect home base for our hiking and sightseeing adventures as it is located about 10 minutes from Banff National Park and within 60 minutes from nearly all the activities we did during our stay. We will be posting several other videos from the various hikes and activities that we did during our visit to Canada but this film is focused on the sights and beauty of the Canmore area. Special note - flying drones recreationally is prohibited in both the National Parks and Provincial Parks of Canada, so in order to gather the footage for this film we had to take-off and land outside those areas as well as follow the Canadian regulations for "micro drones." We are happy to answer any other Canmore-related questions that you have. We hope you enjoy this film and are inspired to visit Canmore or the surrounding area someday. Please "like" this film and "subscribe" to our channel if you enjoy this film and would like to see more of our upcoming content from our trip to Canada.

The Ultimate Weekend Adventure in Estes Park!
Cinematic footage filmed in Estes Park, Colorado in early Summer 2024 ...
Cinematic footage filmed in Estes Park, Colorado in early Summer 2024 with a DJI Mini 3 Pro and GoPro HERO 11. This trip was a family reunion of sorts and ...we took our girls to visit with Jenny's sister and her family for several days. We stayed several nights in a comfortable and spacious vacation rental near the base of Kruger Rock (https://www.vrbo.com/1040461). This was a great location for our base as it provided amazing views of the surrounding mountains and was a short drive from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed having our girls along with us on this trip because Estes Park offers many kid-friendly activities and attractions that we adults enjoyed as well. Our first adventure was into Rocky Mountain National Park via the Beaver Meadows entrance. We had reserved our timed entry ticket into RMNP and specifically for the Bear Lake corridor so we were able to get right in during our entry window. We hiked from Bear Lake up to Nymph Lake, then up to Dream Lake, and finally we reached Emerald Lake. The hike was approximately 3.5 miles round trip and our whole crew was able to do the trek, with several rest breaks along the way. The view of the lakes and surrounding mountains were stunning and fortunately we dodged the mid-afternoon thunderstorm that narrowly missed us. Our second outing was to the Mustang Mountain Coaster. This was a fun activity and we enjoyed the speed and views afforded by the coaster. Tickets are available for 1 or 3 rides and riders under 54" tall can get a ticket to ride as many times as they want as a passenger. Our final big outing was to ride the Estes Park Aerial Tramway from downtown up to Prospect Mountain. Once we reached the top of the tramway we took the Prospect Mountain Trail up to the summit where we enjoyed 360 degree views of Estes Park and the nearby mountaintops. Other locations we visited during our trip include: Moraine Park, Rock Cut Brewery, Avante Garde Aleworks, Avery Brewing Company, Cinnamon's Bakery, Donut Haus, Lake Estes, and Estes Park Riverwalk.
